Her outstanding years as a single mother resulted in the naming of this award in her honour by her daughter and PDG Inc. Executive Director, Janet Dean. Her years as a humanitarian resulted in a lifetime of friends, acquaintances, colleagues and patients who mourned her premature loss to cancer.
